New Series of Town Hall Meetings

Whitehorse – Mayor Dan Curtis and City Council are pleased to announce the fourth series of Town Hall meetings with Whitehorse residents.

The objective of these meetings is to improve understanding of the unique issues affecting Whitehorse neighbourhoods. City Council encourages citizens to come and share ideas and perspectives about municipal issues directly affecting them.

The meetings schedule is as follows:


Neighbourhoods  Date and time of meeting Location of meeting 
Whitehorse North: Porter Creek, Kopper King, Raven's Ridge, Crestview, Taylor and Kulan, Forestview, MacPherson and Hidden Valley  Tuesday April 4 at 6:30-8 pm   Porter Creek Secondary School - Cafeteria  
Riverdale: Riverdale and Long Lake  Wednesday April 5 at 6:30-8 pm 
Christ the King Elementary School - Gymnasium
Whitehorse West: McIntyre, Hillcrest, Valleyview, Granger, Copper Ridge, Logan, Arkell, Ingram and Lobird  Thursday April 6 at 6:30-8 pm Ecole Emilie Tremblay - Library 
Whitehorse East: Takhini, Whistle Bend, Range Point, Swan and Crow Streets  Tuesday April 11 at 6:30-8 pm  
Takhini Elementary School - Library 
Downtown: Downtown and Marwell  Wednesday April 12 at 6:30-8 pm  Shipyards Park - Frank Slim Building 
Whitehorse South: McLean Lake, Canyon Crescent, Mount Sima, Whitehorse Copper, MacRae, Wolf Creek, Pine Ridge, Spruce Hill, Mary Lake, Fox Haven and Cowley Creek Wednesday April 19 at 6:30-8 pm
