Downtown and Marwell Future Forum Events

Post Date:04/13/2017

WHITEHORSE – The City of Whitehorse is launching the Downtown and Marwell planning projects with two days of Future Forum events to gather information and input from government, stakeholders, and the public.

“This is the opportunity for city residents to come together and dream big about the potential for these two very important areas”, Mayor Dan Curtis said. “The last Downtown Plan was adopted by Council in 2007. Since then, over 75% of its 45 recommendations have either been implemented or are underway.”

The goal of the Forum is to refine the project team’s understanding of the key issues affecting both areas and begin gathering ideas and inspiration for this action-focused planning process.

The public, businesses, non-governmental organizations, and government staff are invited to attend a free drop-in session:

Tuesday, April 25, from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM
at the Old Fire Hall (1105 Front Street)

Businesses, non-governmental organizations, and government staff are also invited to register for the following sessions:

Downtown Session

at the Old Fire Hall (1105 Front Street)

Marwell Session
