The City’s contractor will be making safety improvements to the school zone of Jack Hulland Elementary starting Wednesday, June 21.
The safety improvements include installing curb extensions and traffic calming measures.
To accommodate the work, Fir Street, between 12th Avenue and 14th Avenue, will be open to local traffic only.
Detours will be in place for pedestrians and cyclists of all ages and abilities. Work will occur from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is expected to last two weeks, weather permitting.
The Route 4 bus will be detoured onto Elm Street and the bus stop at Jack Hulland will be closed during construction.
The City thanks you for your patience and consideration during this construction period.
