Takhini Sanitary Trunk Main Update

Starting Wednesday, October 25, access to Yukon University and the Yukon Arts Centre will only be available through Mountain View Drive as crews complete repairs on the Takhini Sanitary Trunk Main.

The new detour will be in place until this year’s work is complete, in early November. Range Road will reopen with a packed gravel surface, and we will return next year for paving and curb work.

Active transportation users can continue on the west side of Range Road, and fencing/signage will be set up.

We appreciate the public’s patience as we near completion of this critical infrastructure project. We’re in the home stretch.
