Nominations open for Volunteer of the Year

Do you know an exceptional volunteer who has made a difference in Whitehorse?

If so, the City of Whitehorse is now accepting nominations for the Volunteer of the Year award.

The award recognizes an outstanding individual who has made a significant contribution to an organization, or to the community as a whole.

Nominees will be recognized at the Volunteer Reception Dinner during National Volunteer Week. One individual will be selected as the City’s Volunteer of the Year.

The City has been celebrating and publicly acknowledging outstanding volunteers since 1987.

The deadline to submit a nomination is Sunday, March 17, 2024.
