Section of Takhini East Ridge Trail to be temporarily closed

A section of the Takhini East Ridge Trail will be temporarily closed beginning Friday, April 19 at 6 a.m.

The impacted section is east of the Softball Yukon Complex and the Dieppe Drive cul-de-sac.

The closure is necessary to remove the emergency sanitary bypass piping installed in 2023 and rehabilitate the trail to its previous condition. It’s anticipated the trail will be closed for seven days.

Trail users are asked to abide by the signage and fencing in place.
