New Collective Agreement Reached For Fire Fighters

The City of Whitehorse and the International Association of Fire Fighters, Local 2217 have reached a new collective agreement. The new agreement is effective from January 1, 2022 to December 31, 2024 and covers the members of the Whitehorse Fire Department.

The City thanks the negotiating teams for their efforts in reaching this agreement.

The City of Whitehorse is committed to providing fair wages, benefits and working conditions that ensure effective service delivery for residents.

The new collective agreement was adopted by City Council at a special meeting held today at City Hall / Kwänlin Kêye Ghända Ghakwije Kų.
