Efforts to improve accessibility in Whitehorse are continuing as more para ramps are installed downtown.
The City’s contractor, Copperbelt Contracting Ltd., is currently working on the northeast corner of Main Street and 4th Avenue and the southwest corner of Steele Street and 3rd Avenue. Work to install para ramps is expected to continue until September 27.
Please use caution when in the area of work zones and follow all detours and construction signage.
We appreciate the public’s patience and understanding as we work to improve accessibility for everyone.
