Copper Haul Road has been reopened to vehicle traffic following infrastructure improvements.
A new culvert was installed in an area that had previously experienced washouts. This will allow the road to continue to be used for recreational purposes.
The new culvert also includes fish baffles designed to slow down the speed of the creek to help fish pass through and maintain aquatic habitat on the west side of the road.
The road was reopened to vehicle traffic at the end of September. It will be closed again to vehicle traffic on October 31 for its regular seasonal closure.
