The City’s Range Road Bulk Water Station will be shut down for essential maintenance from Monday, October 21 to Friday, October 25.
The maintenance work is critical to ensure the bulk water system continues to be reliable and efficient.
Water and Waste staff will be at the station from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. each day operating a hydrant to provide temporary water access.
Residents are encouraged to top up their water supply before the shutdown to avoid delays and help reduce demand at the hydrant. High use of the available hydrant during the shutdown could result in extended wait times. The City wants to ensure water is available to everyone in an orderly manner.
Alternative bulk water access is available at Yukon government bulk fills. Visit yukon.ca/en/find-water-treatment-plants for a full list of Yukon government water treatment plants and their locations.
We recognize the temporary closure may cause disruptions and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We appreciate the public’s patience and understanding as we work to complete this necessary maintenance work as quickly as possible.
