Hamilton And Falcon Drive (S) – Roundabout
Overview
The City of Whitehorse is implementing a roundabout at the Hamilton Boulevard and Falcon Drive (S) intersection in the Copper Ridge neighbourhood. A roundabout is intended to improve connectivity and road safety for all users including pedestrians, cyclists, transit users, and drivers.
The proposed changes include but are not limited to:
- Traffic control
- 2-way stop controlled to single lane roundabout
- Active transportation integration
- Road safety for all road users including pedestrians, cyclists, transit users, drivers, goods movement, and emergency response.
The proposed works include but are not limited to:
- Utility relocation
- Surface works: asphalt, concrete
- Pavement markings
- Signage
- Landscaping
