Environmental Grant

Do you have an idea that inspires our community to embrace sustainable living? Each year, we support projects that work toward sustainable goals for a healthy environment and quality of life in Whitehorse. Past projects have helped walking and cycling, landfill waste reduction and diversion, local gardens and food harvest, outdoor living and recreation, bird nest boxes, control of invasive species, and more.

October 15 is the application deadline for Major Grants (over $1,000 to a maximum of $25,000) with a competitive review process.

Application intake for Minor Grants ($1,000 or less) is ongoing beginning on January 1 each year.
