Repairs commence on damaged sewer line

Whitehorse – The City’s Water and Waste crews are now bypassing the Marwell Lift Station and diverting wastewater directly into the Yukon River to facilitate repairs on the leaking portion of sanitary force main.

Residents are asked to reduce water usage and limit recreational activities on the river downstream from the bypass for the duration of repairs.
