Whitehorse – The City of Whitehorse is excited to announce the launch of the 2022 Sidewalk Café and Pop-Up Patio Development Fund to promote the development of sidewalk cafés and pop-up patios in Whitehorse.
Eligible businesses and projects can apply to receive up to $20,000 in assistance. A total of $150,000 in funding is available, and applications will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis. Funding is provided by the Government of Yukon.
The Sidewalk Café and Pop-Up Patio Development Fund was created to encourage more pedestrian activity, stimulate the vibrancy in the Downtown core, and support the long-term success of local restaurants, cafés, and small businesses.
