Whitehorse – Whitehorse Transit will be resuming fare collection on Friday, July 1.
Monthly bus passes purchased in May and June will be honoured during the month of July.
Transit fares have been suspended since May 18 to encourage ridership and reduce peak-time traffic congestion during the Robert Service Way closure.
As a reminder, Whitehorse Transit has two apps that make choosing transit easier. Through the Token Transit app, you can purchase a bus pass on a smartphone and board the bus by showing the driver the pass on your phone. You can also track your bus using the real-time scheduling app, Ride Systems. Learn more at whitehorse.ca/transit.
