Whitehorse – You asked, and we listened! The City of Whitehorse is excited to announce the introduction of Sunday bus service beginning this week.
“On behalf of City Council, I am excited to see this long overdue service finally be implemented in our community,” said Mayor Laura Cabott. “It is vital that people be able to get around on Sundays whether it’s for groceries, work or wherever they need to go. Download our new transit apps and see how convenient Sunday service can be.”
This new service enhancement will follow established Saturday routes, schedules, and timings.
We’re also pleased to introduce bus service on recognized Yukon Public Holidays. This means Whitehorse public transit will be operating 363 days a year, with the exception of Christmas and New Year’s Day.
