City plans hydrant maintenance

The City’s Water and Waste crews will be conducting hydrant maintenance in Riverdale and Downtown between Sept 7 and Sept 20.

Due to this maintenance, residents may experience a disruption in water service. Residents are advised, once water is restored, to flush home cold water lines for up to 5 minutes if tap water appears dark or cloudy. Please note that the water is safe to drink. Water supply pressure and flow will be restored once the maintenance work is completed.
