Robert Service Campground

Please note that City crews will be completing maintenance work at the campground on Thursday, June 27, Friday, June 28, and Tuesday July 2. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

We are now accepting reservations for summer 2024! Campground will be open from May 17 to September 9, 2024.

From Robert Service Campground, you can reach downtown Whitehorse via a 2.5 km walk or bike on the paved Millennium Trail, which follows the beautiful Yukon River. There’s a bus stop at the entrance of the campground, and a Route 5 bus will take you right downtown. Or take 3 minutes to zip into town with your own vehicle on Robert Service Way.

The campground is nicely forested with tall trees offering privacy and shade. We have 60 walk-in tent sites, 8 vehicle-accessible sites as well as 2 group sites equipped with a fire pit and picnic table.

Our facilities and amenities include coin-operated hot showers, clean bathrooms, potable water, fire pits and firewood for purchase, lockers, a small concession and have friendly Parks staff on-site daily from 7 am to 11 pm.

Vehicle accessible sites can accommodate truck campers/vans 6 m or less.

Each group site is 20 x 35 feet and intended to accommodate large groups (maximum of 25 people) who are camping together.

With our reservation system you can preview each of the campsites 📷, choose your favourite and book it through our online platform.

If you’re visiting Whitehorse, you can find more info on the Travel Yukon site.
