Main Street Town Square opens today

Join us today at 4 p.m. for the grand opening of the Main Street Town Square!

Following speeches from Mayor Laura Cabott and artist Laurence Smith, there will be live music until 6 p.m.

Discover street art created by Laurence Smith, with support from the Northern Cultural Expressions Society and Laurence’s Carving Brothers and Sisters. made possible in part through funding from Yukon 125.

Market days, featuring local artisans, food and more, are Tuesdays from 3 to 7 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

A series of concerts performed by local artists will happen every Friday from 4 to 6 p.m, in partnership with Music Yukon.

The Town Square will be open until September 5.

Accessible parking spots are located near Main Street, along Front Street and Second Avenue.
