Whitehorse – Do you know an exceptional volunteer who has made a difference in Whitehorse?
If so, the City of Whitehorse is now accepting nominations for the Volunteer of the Year award.
The award recognizes an outstanding individual who has made a significant contribution to an organization or to the community as a whole.
The deadline to submit a nomination is Wednesday, March 29.
Nominees will be recognized at the Volunteer Reception Dinner during National Volunteer Week on Thursday, April 20. One individual will be selected as the City’s Volunteer of the Year.
The City has been celebrating and publicly acknowledging outstanding volunteers since 1987.
