Out of service elevator at the Canada Games Centre

The Canada Games Centre elevator that provides access to the third floor and walking track remains out of service.

In November of last year, a burst water line damaged the elevator’s electrical system including computerized components.

A contractor has been hired to repair the elevator, but a custom piece is on back order with no estimated timeline.

For patrons who cannot access the walking track, we suggest:

• Walking the upper concourse (similar to mall walking);
• Participating in our drop-in programming;
• Using the Wellness Centre (fitness specialists are available to provide an orientation); and
• Asking staff about additional programming options.
