The City is continuing to make Range Road safer for all users.
Two new pedestrian crossings will be installed along Range Road. One will be at the south side of Falaise Road and one will be at the north end of Rhine Way. Both will feature new curb ramps, pedestrian crossing signage and road markings.
As part of this improvement, the current pedestrian crossing at Normandy Road will also be removed, as it is too close to the Two Mile Hill Road intersection. Pedestrians in the area are encouraged to use the new crossing at Falaise Road or the existing crossing at Two Mile Hill Road.
Combined with work done in the summer as part of the Takhini Sanitary Trunk project, this will see a total of three new pedestrian crossings on Range Road. The work enhances safety for all road users as long-term planning for safety upgrades in the area continue.
The work will begin on October 7 and is expected to take about a week.
Please obey construction signage and drive with caution while the work is underway.
