Join the City and its partners as Shipyards Park is transformed into Santa Land on Saturday, December 7 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
It’s a perfect time to get your photos with Santa and enjoy some outdoor winter fun.
With activities like sledding, skating and games there’s sure to be something for everyone. Those wanting to stay warm or warm up after a skate or sledding can gather around the fire pit and enjoy the hot drinks available.
Residents are reminded to bring their skates, sleds and proper footwear for icy surfaces.
Please keep pets at home, dress warm and in layers.
Santa Land is a popular, annual event, and parking can be difficult to find. Please consider carpooling, taking transit, walking or biking to Shipyards Park.
The event will be cancelled if the temperature is -25 C or colder on weather.gc.ca.
The City thanks BGC Yukon, the Yukon Literacy Coalition and Wildlife Viewing Yukon for partnering on this great event.

To add to the holiday season, residents are invited to share their holiday spirit by putting up their festive lights before December 1.
The City’s dedicated Lights Crew will be touring neighbourhoods between December 2 and December 6 to create this year’s maps for the City’s self-guided light tour.
Add your home to the list for consideration at whitehorse.ca/lights.
