The 2024 Whitehorse Municipal Election is on Thursday, October 17, 2024.
Starting at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, October 2, eligible electors can fill out an application and vote by Special Ballot at City Hall.
In accordance with the Municipal Act, you can request a Special Ballot if you are eligible to vote in the 2024 Whitehorse Municipal Election and you are:
- unable to leave your home;
- unable to vote at an advance or regular poll because of your job or business;
- a student, or the spouse of a student, studying at an educational institution outside Whitehorse;
- possibly at risk of harm if you go in person to vote; or
- going to be out of town on polling days (Advance Poll – October 10, 2024 and Election Day – October 17, 2024).
Completed Special Ballots can be submitted during regular office hours, Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. until 2 p.m. on October 17, 2024.
