It’s time to get ready for three days of food, entertainment and community fun during the annual Street Eats festival.
Food vendors will be dishing out lunch, dinner and snacks next to City Hall on Steele Street and on the Riverfront from August 26 to 28, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
With a variety of vendors, there will be something for everyone.
The festival will feature daily musical performances on the Riverfront beginning on August 26 with Sarah Hamilton Duo at noon, followed by Brigitte Jardin at 1 p.m.
Joey O’Neil will perform August 27 at 5 p.m. followed by Gordie Tentrees at 6 p.m. Finally, August 28 will feature performances by South of Town at noon and Ryan McNally at 1 p.m.
Claire Ness and other performers from the Yukon Circus Society are also set to entertain festival-goers on Steele Street on Monday and Wednesday from 5 to 7 pm.
Along with the festival events will be the weekly Riverfront Town Square market on August 27.
We look forward to residents and visitors joining us for the festival.
