WHITEHORSE – Keri Rutherford has been named the City of Whitehorse’s inaugural Employee of the Year!
Keri is a Program Supervisor with the City’s Recreation department, and a familiar, smiling face at the Canada Games Centre. In addition to leading a variety of recreation programs for Whitehorse residents, Keri is a core member of the City’s Wellness Committee, which focuses on promoting a healthy and welcoming workplace that supports employee wellbeing.
The Employee of the Year Award is a way for the City to recognize the exceptional work, contributions, and behaviours of employees that aligns with our core values – Respect, Collaboration, Appreciation, Teamwork, and Accountability – and support the achievement of our goals and mission to serve the residents of Whitehorse.
